Jose Rainer is a creator.

A creator who adjusted himself to the level of creative advertising for years.He used his enormous talent in minor works for others.He now uncovers, for himself, for biological and aesthetic needs, a jar full of captive answers.Thus appears a dazzling, undefeated, unpublished world, whose central character is our hands, those which allowed us, humans, for better or worse, to take over the planet.I feel his work as an epic of Nature, an elegy of man, the liturgy of an internal explosion long withheld.A work to celebrate with applause.Rainer and I, met working in advertising. For years we enjoyed its malignancy and festive spirit.We were loyal companions and generated a close friendship.That bright feeling does not blind my analytical skills.Rather, it gives me an extra depth allowing me to inquire very deeply into his work.Our long friendship and being a consumer of art are the only merit that authorizes me to write this insufficient text.

Biography

I was born in Buenos Aires and I have studied at the National Academy of Fine Arts.
I have not followed a conventional career as an artist, despite that from a very early age I had a passion for drawing.
After graduating from Art School, I spend 30 years specializing in Packaging Design and Art Direction for different Advertising Agencies until I founded my own Graphic Design Studio in Buenos Aires, recognized in the Industry as one of the Top Creative Studios in South America.

During these years, my passion for painting was shadowed by the overload of work, an exponential growth that gave birth to receiving Awards and Recognition by the Industry. However, my growing determination to paint full time in 2009 reached a turning point.

I finally gave birth to my innate passion, dedicating to Art. I definitely have not left the Design and Advertising Industry, however, I am more selective with the projects I receive.
